VIP HOME PAINTING
Visualize it. Love it. Paint it.

Built in 1991, and much of the street still wears the builder’s choice. The Gallaghers were one signature away from painting their house twice — and from a hillside with 180-degree views, a miss does not stay private.
The Gallaghers saw their Newport Beach home
in all 11 color schemes. These 4 are a quick preview.
VIP Home Painting serves Summit Pointe, the guard-gated community of 243 homes in Anaheim Hills, CA. Built in 1991, Summit Pointe homes are now several repaint cycles on from their original builder palette. We repaint exteriors, interiors and kitchen cabinets using Sherwin-Williams Emerald and Duration coatings applied with professional Graco and Titan airless spray equipment, and every project starts with a complimentary consultation in which your actual home is rendered in each candidate palette. Exterior work starts at $4.75 per square foot of paintable surface, itemized line by line, backed by a 2-Year Warranty. Call (949) 418-6461.
The ending first: the Gallaghers’ Newport Beach house in Marine Layer, with LED Slot Sconce lighting, Cedar Shake accents and a Smoked Glass Garage. Seen from a distance — the way so many Summit Pointe homes are seen, across 180 degrees of hillside — the old palette turned out to be the riskier choice, not the new color.
Summit Pointe was built in 1991, and much of the street still wears the palette the builder picked. A repaint that simply refreshes it costs almost exactly what a change does — which makes the wait worth understanding.
The Gallaghers’ house wore its original colors long after anyone loved them. Keeping them felt safe.
Three things made it feel that way. A refresh needed no decision. A change meant choosing from a fan deck with no way to see the result. And with homes seen from well beyond their own street, a wrong color would not stay a private mistake.
So the builder’s choice stayed, year after year. Not because it was right — because nothing showed them what right would look like until the brush was already loaded.
The Gallaghers nearly signed off on a refresh of the colors already on their Newport Beach house. Rendered across the whole front and seen from a distance, the old palette looked tired rather than safe — and a new scheme would cost almost exactly the same. The refresh was the first thing they ruled out.
A color change costs nearly the same as a refresh, because you are paying for preparation and coating either way. We show you both on the front of your house before you decide.
Your home is visible from well outside your street.
With 180-degree views off many Summit Pointe homes, we render the whole front of the house at distance rather than showing a swatch, so you judge what the neighborhood actually sees.
Getting a crew and materials through a guarded gate.
Vehicle details and crew names go to the gate in advance, deliveries are scheduled, and everything stages on your property rather than the street.
Three decades of hairline cracks covered rather than repaired.
Each crack is opened, filled and floated to match the surrounding texture, with bonding primer wherever the original coating has chalked, so the new finish rests on a sound surface.
A single lump-sum quote with no way to see what was counted.
Every estimate is itemized line by line — preparation, primer, coating, trim and accents — from $4.75 per square foot of paintable surface, with the 2-Year Warranty written into the same document.
Every scheme was rendered on the front of the Gallaghers’ Newport Beach house — body, trim and accent together — before anything was bought. Ten went; Marine Layer stayed. In Summit Pointe, where many homes look out over 180 degrees of hillside, the same half hour shows what a render at arm’s length never can: how the house reads from far away.

Pick a direction and tap through the palettes. The home below repaints itself in real time — the same thing our design team does with the front of your house before anything is scheduled.
The Gallaghers made four decisions, not one — color, lighting, texture and the garage door. Each one changed how the last one looked. Make all four on their house, before you make them on yours.
Pick a style direction, then a palette — your home re-paints itself in real time.
Color is only half of what the street sees after dark.
Fixtures change how a facade reads at night, which is why lighting is the next decision here rather than an afterthought on the invoice.
From minimalist LED slots to wrought-iron lanterns — tap each fixture to see it glowing on your home.
Texture decides how the color behaves.
The same pigment on smooth stucco and on cedar shake is not the same color in your light. That is precisely what a sample board cannot tell you.
Cedar shake, board & batten, or stacked stone — premium material additions layered onto your home.
The last decisions are the ones the street sees first.
A garage door faces the road more squarely than any wall does, and it is the piece most homeowners leave to chance.
Glass-panel garage doors and natural stone for a true luxury transformation.
You have just repainted a Newport Beach estate. Send us the front of your home and our design team renders it in your three closest palettes — the same way you just saw.

Summit Pointe is 243 homes behind one gate, and with panoramic views off many of them, a house is seen from further away and by more neighbors than almost anywhere in the city. None of what follows is visible the week the crew leaves. All of it is visible several summers on, which is why each item is written into the estimate.
For the Gallaghers, the color came first and the rest followed — the details, the finish, the last touches — each seen on their own house while it could still change. A Summit Pointe project runs the same three steps, with gate clearance for the crew and deliveries arranged in advance and materials staged on your property.
The 2-Year Warranty covers labor and materials and is printed on the itemized estimate you sign. On a house three decades from its original finish, the preparation behind it is listed on the same page: cracks floated back to the texture, bonding primer where the old coating has chalked, and two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald or Duration. If something covered fails within the warranty period, VIP Home Painting comes back and puts it right.
The expensive part of a repaint is doing it twice, so four things reach you first: renders of your own house, an estimate priced line by line, the warranty in writing, and a color submission prepared for the community association’s design review.
Choosing the right colors can be overwhelming. VIP Home Painting’s complimentary consultation lets you visualize and decide in 30 minutes.
Labor and materials, in writing, on every project. If something fails inside two years we come back and put it right.
VIP Home Painting prices prep, primer, coating, trim and accents separately, starting at $4.75 per square foot of paintable surface. You see what you are paying for before you sign.
We prepare the submission package your community association asks for and carry it through approval. That is part of the project, not an add-on.
Original 1991 finishes brought back to a sound surface, then Sherwin-Williams Emerald or Duration sprayed with Graco and Titan airless equipment and back-rolled. Starts at $4.75 per square foot of paintable surface, measured on what is actually painted.

Interior House Painting detailsCabinet doors and drawers are sprayed off-site in Sherwin-Williams urethane enamel for a factory-smooth finish — the single highest-impact change available in a 1991 kitchen without replacing the boxes.

P.S. — The Gallaghers nearly refreshed the colors they already had. What changed their mind was seeing 11 complete schemes on the house itself, ruling out ten, and only then opening a can.
In Summit Pointe a house is seen from far away and for years. One photo of the front of yours is all the consultation asks, and it is complimentary, with the itemized estimate included.
